Women's Ministry

Wow is all we can say about our Women's Ministry "Leading Ladies"! Led by Katie Sacriste, pastor's wife, the Leading Ladies have shown a substantial amount of growth the last year. Starting with only about 80 women, the ministry has had as many as 500 ladies at their quaterly events (four events a year). Youth

FOCUS STUDENT MINISTRIES (FSM) is a powerful, young, group of teenagers thats focus is seeing their friends in school have the same life changing experiecne that they had in the powerful youth services they attend. Pastor Mike and Alicia Womer do a great job ministering to the youth here at LFA!

Children's Ministry

Our Children's Ministry is constantly growing and is currently being led by Helen Trevino who has been working and teaching children for many years even here at LFA back when there was a school in our facilities. There are many exciting things the children get to involve themselves in, so just sit back and let us cater to your kid's needs.

October Events

I am very excited about the month of October. We have so much planned and have different things going on so everyone can get involved. October the 12th through 14th, We will be having a special guest, Evangelist Joe Oden, with us to give a lesson on Evangelism and have an actual time set for people to go out and do Street Evangelism along side the Evangelist and his team. He will also be preaching that Sunday Morning, something I'm very excited about.

Prayer Pastor Lisa Swayze is coming down on the 15th through 19th for a week of prayer. This is when WE as a church body will fast and engage in intercession for revival and a huge move of the Holy Spirit in our community. I-35 PROPHETIC CONFERENCE



Pastor Steve Hill of Heartland World Ministries Church will be down on the 26th. He will be bringing the word at Misericordia Assemblies of God Friday night at 7 p.m.

Also coming to Laredo, Pastor Jim Hennesy of Trinity Church and Cindy Jacobs, world renowned speaker, will too be at Misericordia for the I-35 Prophetic Conference. They will be speaking on the 27th at 9 a.m. to 12 p.m and continuing at 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Pastor Hennesy will be preaching with us, Laredo First Assembly, Sunday morning the 28th.
